Sweep The Moon Spotless Badge: Your First Tile Guide

How to Unlock Spotless

The Sweep The Moon spotless badge takes one clean tile, so focus your starting toothbrush on a single square. It gives you an early milestone while you work toward better equipment. Cleaning the entire moon is a separate achievement called Clean Sweep.

Start in Sweep The Moon on Roblox, then work through these steps:

  1. Pick one tile. Keep your sweeping concentrated on that square instead of spreading your progress across several.
  2. Hold your sweeping action. Your toothbrush collects moon dust into your canister.
  3. Sweep in straight passes. Work across the tile in adjacent lines to cover the remaining dusty areas.
  4. Empty your canister when it fills. Take the dust to the base deposit to collect cash, then return to your unfinished square.
  5. Reach the tile’s cleanup threshold. At 95% cleaned, the tile snaps clean, completing the objective for Spotless.

That 95% threshold applies to an individual tile. The full-moon achievement requires the moon to reach 100% clean.

Keep Your Early Spending Focused

Increase canister capacity to collect more dust between deposit trips. Payout upgrades increase your earnings, helping you fund further equipment improvements.

For this immediate goal, keep working on the same tile while making those trips. Leave conveyor construction for later: belts transport dust containers, while the nearby deposit already handles your early cash-ins. Vehicles and robot docks become useful as you expand your cleaning effort across the moon.

If you are considering paid conveniences, Infinite Canister costs 99 Robux and prevents your backpack canister from filling. You still need to empty it at the intake to receive cash. Sell As You Sweep costs 249 Robux, includes Infinite Canister, and pays immediately for dust collected by hand or by a vehicle you drive. You still return to shop. Fast Legs costs 99 Robux and increases walking speed by 50% whenever your broom is not sweeping. It helps with trips home and moving around, but your sweeping speed stays tied to your broom. Choose it for travel speed rather than expecting faster brush passes.

Spotless and the Other Badge Goals

Spotless rewards tile completion; Payday rewards selling dust. You can make progress toward both during the same opening stretch by sweeping a square and emptying your canister.

The five badge objectives give you these targets:

BadgeHow to Unlock
PaydayEarn your first money by selling moon dust.
SpotlessClean your first tile of the moon.
Dust DevilSweep 1,000 kg of moon dust across all moons combined.
Factory FloorBuild a Crusher or a Block Press.
Clean SweepClean a moon to 100%.

For Dust Devil, the 1,000 kg total carries across moons. Clean Sweep instead asks you to finish a moon completely.

Spotless has been awarded 1,177,894 times, compared with 1,509,425 awards for Payday. The totals drop to 174,314 for Dust Devil and 42,029 for Factory Floor. Clean Sweep has 5,793 awards. These are award counts, not completion percentages; each badge still has its own specific objective, from selling dust to finishing the whole moon.

Badge Completion Order

Use this order as a progression checklist:

  1. Payday: Sell your first collected dust during an early deposit trip.
  2. Spotless: Return to your chosen tile and finish cleaning it.
  3. Dust Devil: Keep sweeping toward the cumulative 1,000 kg target while improving your equipment.
  4. Factory Floor: Build either a Crusher or a Block Press as you develop your production setup.
  5. Clean Sweep: Push toward full-moon completion with upgraded tools, sweepers, and automation.

For the longer cleanup, robot docks provide robots that sweep automatically, while vehicles let you drive across dusty ground. The +1 Robot Dock pass costs 149 Robux and lets you place one small dock for free in every moon. Its robots clean for the whole crew; picking the dock up lets you place it again for free.

This is a suggested route, rather than an unlock chain. If you build production machinery before reaching 1,000 kg, cross Factory Floor off your checklist then.
