Sweep The Moon Upgrades: What to Buy and When to Save
Plan your Sweep The Moon upgrades with tips on payout, canister capacity, brushes, vehicles, robot docks, and paid passes to keep your cleanup moving fast.

What Should You Upgrade First?
Your toothbrush gets you started, but frequent deposit trips make cleaning the Moon feel slow. Prioritize payout and canister capacity when planning your Sweep The Moon upgrades, then improve your brush as you earn more cash. Those purchases help you earn more from cleaning and spend less time carrying dust back to base.
The basic loop is straightforward: sweep dust into your canister, empty it at the base for cash, and reinvest in equipment. Before buying anything, identify what interrupts that loop.
- Increase payout early. Higher payouts help fund the tools, vehicles, and buildings you want next.
- Expand your canister when it keeps filling up. More capacity lets you collect more dust between deposits.
- Improve your brush when clearing a tile takes too long. Tools include the scrubber and large brush, while upgrade options include head width and head power.
- Consider movement speed when travel eats into cleaning time. Compare that purchase with another capacity upgrade if most of your walking comes from a full canister.
Avoid putting every purchase into one stat. If a better brush fills your canister almost immediately, buy more capacity before chasing another cleaning upgrade. If you have room for dust but struggle to clear a patch, focus on your tool.
Finish Tiles While You Earn
Sweep in straight passes across a tile instead of wandering between scattered patches. This helps you cover the area systematically and work toward tile-completion rewards.
Use nearby deposit areas to keep trips short. Early on, walking dust back yourself also lets you save cash for equipment instead of spending it on a conveyor setup.

When to Buy Vehicles, Robot Docks, and Belts
Vehicles and robots give you ways to clean beyond your handheld brush. Sweepers and giant rovers are part of the equipment lineup, and vehicles are available through the bay.

Save toward a vehicle when you want to shift into driving and sweeping. Keep an eye on your savings between shop visits: repeatedly buying smaller upgrades can postpone the vehicle you were working toward.
Robot docks take a different role by providing robots that sweep for you. Save toward a dock if you want automated cleaning alongside your own work. The paid +1 Robot Dock pass is a separate purchase with its own benefits, detailed below.
Build Logistics Around Dust Production
Belts transport containers of dust, and splitters divide one belt into two. Delay that infrastructure while you can easily handle deposits on foot.
Once you are producing enough dust to make manual hauling cumbersome, plan the belt route around the containers you need to move. Buy logistics to solve that transport problem rather than placing a network before you need it.
Production also includes the Crusher and Block Press, which process dust into something more valuable. Building either earns the Factory Floor badge. Keep those machines in mind as you move beyond collecting and depositing raw dust.
Which Game Passes Change Your Upgrade Plan?
Paid passes affect different parts of the cleaning loop. Compare their actual effects before spending Robux, especially because Sell As You Sweep already includes Infinite Canister.
| Game Pass | Price | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Infinite Canister | 99 Robux | Your backpack canister never fills. You still empty it at the intake to receive cash. |
| Sell As You Sweep | 249 Robux | Pays immediately for dust collected by hand or by a vehicle you drive. Includes Infinite Canister. |
| 2x Cash | 249 Robux | Adds +100% cash from hand sweeping, driving, completed tiles, and your automation share. Adds to payout upgrades; cash packs are excluded. |
| Head Start | 199 Robux | Once per moon, puts a fully paid walk-behind sweeper in the first empty bay. |
| Fast Vehicles | 149 Robux | Adds +30% speed to any vehicle you drive. |
| Fast Legs | 99 Robux | Adds +50% walk speed whenever your broom is not sweeping. |
| +1 Robot Dock | 149 Robux | Lets you place one small robot dock for free in every moon. |
| Everything | 649 Robux | Includes all seven individual passes above. |
These passes remain yours across moons, including moons you join with friends.
Separate capacity from automatic selling. Infinite Canister removes the fill limit, but you still need to visit the intake to collect your earnings. Sell As You Sweep removes the cash-in trip for hand sweeping and vehicles you drive; you still return to shop.
Match speed purchases to your activity. Fast Legs speeds up travel while your broom is not sweeping. Your sweeping speed still depends on the broom. Fast Vehicles applies when you drive a vehicle.
Check the bay before relying on Head Start. Its sweeper occupies a shared bay, so your crew can drive it too. If every bay already contains a vehicle, the pass provides no sweeper for that moon.
Plan the free dock as crew equipment. Robots from the +1 Robot Dock pass clean for the whole crew. You can pick that dock up and place it again for free.
