What Does the Robot Dock Do?
The Sweep The Moon robot dock puts robots to work sweeping dust for your crew. It adds automated cleaning while you keep working with your own tools or vehicles. Save toward a dock early if you want robots helping with the moon cleanup.
Robot docks belong to the game's building and automation side, alongside conveyor belts and production machines. Vehicles serve a different role: you drive sweepers and rovers yourself, while robots handle sweeping for you.
You can earn cash through the basic cleaning loop before investing in automation: sweep dust into your canister, empty it at the base, and spend the payout on equipment and upgrades.

Save for Robots Before Building Conveyor Belts
Early on, buying equipment competes with upgrading your brush, canister, and payout. Work toward a robot dock while keeping your manual cleaning productive:

- Sweep in straight lines. Move across dusty tiles in an orderly pattern to avoid repeatedly brushing areas you've already covered.
- Increase your payout early. Use the payout upgrade to raise the rewards from your cleaning.
- Upgrade your canister. More capacity lets you gather more dust before emptying it.
- Delay conveyor spending while deposits are easy to reach. Carry your dust back yourself and keep that cash available for a dock.
Belts transport containers of dust to the building. Their role becomes more useful when you're handling larger amounts of dust, but they don't replace the robots that sweep it up.
Keep those purchases separate in your spending plan: a dock adds automated sweeping, while belts handle transportation. If your immediate goal is getting robots working, save for the dock before expanding your logistics.
What Does the +1 Robot Dock Pass Include?
The +1 Robot Dock pass costs 149 Robux and lets you place one small robot dock for free in every moon you play. That benefit also applies when you join a friend's moon, and the dock's robots clean for the whole crew.
You can pick up that dock and place it again for free. The benefit is one free small dock per moon, with free replacement after pickup.
These passes have benefits relevant to robot automation:
| Pass | Price | Automation benefit |
|---|---|---|
| +1 Robot Dock | 149 Robux | One small robot dock you can place for free in every moon, including a friend's |
| 2x Cash | 249 Robux | +100% cash on earnings, including your share from automation |
| Everything | 649 Robux | Includes +1 Robot Dock, 2x Cash, and the other passes |
Choose +1 Robot Dock if your purchase goal is the free small dock. Consider Everything only if you also want its other included benefits, such as faster vehicles, faster walking, and the canister and selling passes.
For automation earnings, 2x Cash applies to your share of the income and adds to your payout upgrades. It also covers hand sweeping, driving, and completed tiles, so its benefit extends across the cleaning work you do alongside your robots.
Cash packs are excluded from the doubling effect. Keep that distinction in mind when comparing purchases: the earnings bonus covers your cleaning income and automation share, while purchased cash packs retain their own amounts.
Infinite Canister, sold separately for 99 Robux, keeps your back canister from filling up. You still need to empty it at the intake to collect payment. Sell As You Sweep, priced at 249 Robux, includes Infinite Canister and pays immediately when dust enters your canister. Any vehicle you drive also pays as it sweeps, although you still return to the building to shop.
The movement passes in Everything affect your own work alongside the robots. Fast Vehicles costs 149 Robux separately and adds +30% speed to any vehicle you drive. Fast Legs costs 99 Robux and provides +50% walk speed whenever your broom is not sweeping. Your sweeping speed still follows your broom, so that walking bonus applies to trips home and movement around the building.
