How to Get a Sweeper in Sweep The Moon
The Sweep The Moon sweeper gets you out of the toothbrush grind and into vehicle-based cleaning. Buy one at the vehicle bay using cash earned from collecting and depositing moon dust. Plan your early purchases around that goal so you can spend more time driving across dirty tiles.
Your starting toothbrush handles the opening stretch. Hold it to sweep dust into your canister, then empty the canister at the base to collect your cash.
To work toward a vehicle:
- Sweep a patch near a deposit point.
- Empty your canister when it fills.
- Spend selectively on early upgrades while building your vehicle fund.
- Head to the vehicle bay to purchase your sweeper.
Work in straight lines across a tile instead of repeatedly crossing the same cleared ground. Finish tiles as you go: completed tiles also contribute cash, giving you another reason to clean a defined patch.

Which Upgrades to Buy Before Your Vehicle
Canister capacity and payout deserve attention during the opening grind. A larger canister holds more dust between deposits, while payout upgrades increase your earnings.

Use the problem interrupting your cleanup to guide your next purchase:
- Constant trips to deposit: Increase canister capacity.
- Slow cash accumulation: Put money into payout upgrades.
- Slow hand cleaning: Look at brush upgrades and replacement tools before committing more cash elsewhere.
The tool selection includes the scrubber and large brush, so you have equipment options between the toothbrush and vehicles. Keep your vehicle goal in mind when shopping: every optional purchase uses cash you could put toward the bay.
Skip conveyor belts during the opening stretch when walking to the deposit is still easy. Belts transport dust containers to buildings, but that infrastructure becomes more useful once you're handling larger amounts of dust.
After buying your sweeper, clean long, continuous strips. Turn onto the next dirty stretch at the end of each pass to reduce time spent driving over ground you've already cleared.
Vehicle Passes and Cash Upgrades
You can buy a sweeper with earned cash. Robux passes offer separate shortcuts, speed increases, and changes to how you collect payment.
Two passes directly affect getting or driving a vehicle:
- Head Start — 199 Robux: Once per moon, places a fully paid walk-behind sweeper in the first empty bay. Your crew can drive it too. If every bay already contains a vehicle, it provides none that moon.
- Fast Vehicles — 149 Robux: Adds +30% speed to any vehicle you drive.
The cash and canister passes affect your cleanup loop differently:
| Pass | Price | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Infinite Canister | 99 Robux | Your back canister never fills; deposit dust at the intake to receive payment. |
| Sell As You Sweep | 249 Robux | Pays immediately for dust collected by hand or by a vehicle you drive; includes Infinite Canister. |
| 2x Cash | 249 Robux | Adds +100% cash to hand sweeping, driving, completed tiles, and your automation share. |
Infinite Canister removes the capacity limit, but you still need to visit the intake to cash in. Sell As You Sweep removes those payment trips; you still return to shop.
The 2x Cash bonus adds to your payout upgrades. It does not double purchased cash packs.
Keep walking speed separate from driving speed when choosing a pass. Fast Legs costs 99 Robux and adds +50% walk speed while your broom is not sweeping. Sweeping speed stays tied to your broom; Fast Vehicles supplies the vehicle speed bonus.
Add Robots and Belts Alongside Your Sweeper
Driving and automation handle different parts of the cleanup. You operate the vehicle, while robots sweep for the crew.
Save toward a robot dock when you want cleaning to continue alongside your own work. Add belts as dust-container transport becomes a bigger part of your setup, rather than spending on a conveyor network before you need it.
The +1 Robot Dock pass costs 149 Robux and lets you place one small robot dock for free in every moon. Its robots clean for the whole crew. Picking up that dock makes it free to place again.
Coordinate vehicle use with your group, too. A Head Start sweeper occupies a shared bay, so arrange who will drive while others sweep by hand or work on automation.
