Sweep The Moon Solar Guide: Panels and Early Spending

Where to Find the Small Solar Panel

Looking for Sweep The Moon solar equipment? Find the small solar panel in the Production menu while browsing the building options. Plan your spending carefully: that purchase competes with sweeping upgrades and the cash you’re saving for a robot dock.

The game’s building system also includes robot docks, conveyor belts, splitters, and processing machines. Give each purchase a specific job in your setup before spending your dust earnings.

Prioritize Your Sweeping Income

You begin with a toothbrush, collect moon dust in your canister, and empty it at the base for cash. That loop funds your equipment purchases, so put early earnings toward improving it.

  • Increase payout early. Payout upgrades increase your rewards, helping you save toward more equipment.
  • Upgrade your canister. More capacity lets you gather more dust before making another deposit trip.
  • Sweep in straight lines. Work across a tile in orderly passes to avoid repeatedly crossing patches you have already cleaned.
  • Use nearby deposit areas. Empty your canister before heading back out to collect another load.

Brush and speed upgrades are also part of progression. Choose your next upgrade around the task slowing you down: gathering dust, carrying it, or moving between work and the deposit.

If you’re considering spending Robux while saving in-game cash for building equipment, compare what the income passes actually change:

  • Infinite Canister costs 99 Robux. Your backpack canister never fills, but you still need to empty it at the intake to receive cash. The pass works in every moon you play, including a friend’s.
  • Sell As You Sweep costs 249 Robux. Dust pays immediately when it enters your canister, and vehicles you drive also pay while sweeping. This pass includes Infinite Canister. You still need to visit the building to shop.
  • 2x Cash costs 249 Robux. It adds +100% cash to earnings from hand sweeping, driving, completed tiles, and your share of automation. The bonus adds to payout upgrades; purchased cash packs are not doubled.

Movement passes affect different parts of the collection loop. Fast Legs costs 99 Robux and adds +50% walking speed whenever your broom is not sweeping. Your sweeping speed stays tied to your broom. Fast Vehicles costs 149 Robux and adds +30% speed to any vehicle you drive. Match the purchase to the activity you want to speed up.

Save Toward Robots Before Expanding Your Belts

Robot docks add robots that sweep for your crew. Save toward a dock if you want automated cleaning alongside your own sweeping.

Conveyor belts handle a different task: they carry dust containers to the building. While you’re gathering small loads close to a deposit, carry them back yourself and preserve your cash for upgrades or the dock. Expand into belts later as the amount of dust you handle grows.

A splitter divides one belt into two. Add one when your conveyor layout needs that branch, rather than buying logistics pieces without a route planned.

There is also a paid dock option:

  • +1 Robot Dock costs 149 Robux.
  • The pass lets you place one small robot dock for free in every moon, with robots that clean for the whole crew.
  • Picking up that dock lets you place it again for free.
  • The pass applies in your own moon and a friend’s moon.

Vehicles are available at the bay, with sweepers and giant rovers among the game’s equipment. Head Start costs 199 Robux and supplies a walk-behind sweeper in the first empty bay once per moon. That vehicle occupies a shared bay, so your crew can drive it too. If every bay already contains a vehicle, the pass supplies none for that moon.

Processing adds another building objective: constructing a Crusher or Block Press turns dust into something better and earns the Factory Floor badge. Keep that processing task distinct from collecting dust with robots and transporting containers on belts.

Keep the dock’s cleaning role separate from the belt’s transport role when planning purchases. Choose the equipment that addresses the work you currently need automated.
