Sweep The Moon Clean Sweep Badge: How to Unlock It

One spotless tile is only the start. The Sweep The Moon clean sweep badge requires cleaning an entire moon to 100%, making it a much larger goal than finishing your first patch of dust. Build up your earning power, move into vehicles, and put automation to work as you clear the map.

What Unlocks Clean Sweep?

Clean Sweep unlocks when you finish cleaning a moon completely. Clearing one tile earns Spotless, while collecting 1,000 kg across multiple moons earns Dust Devil. Neither milestone replaces the full-moon requirement.

These badges give you smaller targets along the way:

AchievementHow to unlockTimes awarded
PaydayEarn your first money by selling moon dust.1,509,425
SpotlessClean your first moon tile.1,177,894
Dust DevilSweep 1,000 kg of moon dust across all moons.174,314
Factory FloorBuild a Crusher or a Block Press.42,029
Clean SweepClean a moon to 100%.5,793

Clean Sweep has far fewer awards than the other badges listed here. Treat it as a sustained cleaning project, and use the smaller milestones to break up the work.

Build Up Your Cleaning Speed

Start by holding your toothbrush against dusty ground, collecting dust in your canister, and emptying it at the base for cash.

  1. Finish a nearby tile. Sweep in straight, adjacent lines so you can see which strips still need attention. Individual tiles snap clean at 95%; the full-moon target remains 100%.
  2. Increase canister capacity. Give yourself more room to collect dust between deposit trips.
  3. Invest in payout upgrades early. Higher payouts help fund the tools and machinery needed for the larger cleanup.
  4. Replace the starting toothbrush. Buy stronger cleaning tools as your cash grows instead of tackling the entire map with your starter equipment.

Watch the cleaning percentage in the upper-right corner. Use it to track overall progress while you finish individual tiles.

Put Vehicles and Robots to Work

Buy a sweeper at the vehicle bay when you can afford one. Drive along long, dusty stretches, then cover neighboring strips to avoid leaving scattered gaps between passes. Driving-speed upgrades are another option once you are using vehicles.

Save toward a robot dock to add automated sweeping. Robots clean for the crew, letting you keep working elsewhere while they contribute to the same moon.

The +1 Robot Dock pass costs 149 Robux and lets you place one small robot dock for free in every moon. Pick the dock up, and you can place it again for free.

Leave conveyor belts until you have enough dust moving through your setup to justify them. Early on, walk your canister to the deposit and spend that cash on cleaning upgrades. Belts become more useful when you are handling larger quantities of dust.

For a paid convenience option, Sell As You Sweep costs 249 Robux and pays immediately for dust collected by hand or by a vehicle you drive. It includes Infinite Canister, reducing interruptions from capacity limits and cash-in trips.

100% Completion Order

Work through these badge targets as your equipment improves:

  1. Payday: Sell your first load of dust to start funding upgrades.
  2. Spotless: Finish your first tile, using straight passes to clear it systematically.
  3. Dust Devil: Keep sweeping toward the cumulative 1,000 kg requirement while building up your equipment.
  4. Factory Floor: Build either a Crusher or a Block Press when you expand into processing.
  5. Clean Sweep: Continue clearing tiles with your tools, vehicles, and robots until the moon reaches 100%. Use the overall cleaning counter to judge completion, even when the area around your base already looks spotless.
