How to Unlock Factory Floor
The Sweep The Moon factory floor badge rewards you for building a Crusher or a Block Press. Either machine satisfies the requirement, giving you a specific construction goal as you move into dust processing. You only need one of the two builds to meet the badge objective.
Your qualifying options are:
- Crusher: Build this machine to earn Factory Floor.
- Block Press: Build this machine as the alternative way to earn the same badge.
Both turn collected dust into something better. Choose one as your badge target and work toward that build while earning cash from cleaning.
Build Up Your Cash
Start with the basic cleaning loop:
- Sweep dust into your canister. Hold your cleaning tool to collect dust from the moon’s surface.
- Empty your canister at the base. Selling the collected dust earns cash.
- Work toward your chosen machine. Build a Crusher or Block Press to complete the badge requirement.
Sweep in straight lines to cover tiles systematically. Finish a tile before moving across the map: completed tiles also contribute cash, giving you another reason to clear an area thoroughly.
Prioritize payout upgrades early to increase your earnings, and increase canister capacity to carry more dust between deposits. Save conveyor belts for later, when you’re handling larger amounts of dust; early on, walk your canister back to the deposit area.
Your starting tool is a toothbrush, with other cleaning tools including the scrubber, large brush, and tea bar brush. Brush, canister, and speed upgrades are part of the cleaning loop. Vehicles expand your equipment options to sweepers and giant rovers, while robot docks provide robots that sweep automatically. Conveyor belts carry containers of dust to buildings.
Paid passes also affect the cash-earning loop:
- Infinite Canister — 99 Robux: Your back canister has no capacity limit, but you still need to empty it at the intake to receive cash.
- Sell As You Sweep — 249 Robux: Dust earns cash as it enters your canister, and vehicles you drive pay while sweeping. This pass includes Infinite Canister; shopping still requires a trip back.
- 2x Cash — 249 Robux: Adds +100% cash from hand sweeping, driving, completed tiles, and your share of automation earnings. It adds to payout upgrades and does not double cash packs.
These passes apply in every moon you play, including a friend’s moon. Keep the machine build as your construction target while using the cleaning equipment and payout options available to you.

Where Factory Floor Fits Among the Badges
Factory Floor is the construction milestone in a badge list that also rewards selling dust, clearing tiles, collecting dust across moons, and finishing an entire moon.

| Achievement | How to unlock | Times awarded |
|---|---|---|
| Payday | Sell moon dust to earn your first money. | 1,509,425 |
| Spotless | Fully clean your first moon tile. | 1,177,894 |
| Dust Devil | Sweep 1,000 kg of moon dust across all moons. | 174,314 |
| Factory Floor | Build a Crusher or a Block Press. | 42,029 |
| Clean Sweep | Clean a moon to 100%. | 5,793 |
These are award totals, rather than percentages of players. Factory Floor has fewer awards than the dust-collection milestones, while Clean Sweep has the fewest awards of the five.
A Completion Checklist for All Five Badges
Use this order to organize your badge goals:
- Earn Payday: Fill your canister and sell the dust at the base.
- Earn Spotless: Concentrate on completing one tile.
- Work toward Dust Devil: Keep sweeping toward the cumulative 1,000 kg requirement.
- Target Factory Floor: Build either qualifying machine when you can.
- Finish with Clean Sweep: Bring a moon’s cleaning progress to 100%.
Keep collecting dust while working toward your machine build. Dust Devil counts sweeping across all moons, so its progress can run alongside your construction goal. For the final cleanup, use vehicles and robots to help cover the moon, and keep clearing tiles toward that 100% finish.
